IntraStar's Terms and Conditions

Welcome to IntraStar. By accessing or using our application and services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (Terms). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

• Access to, creation of an account for, or use of the IntraStar app and any user-generated content features requires your affirmative acceptance of these Terms ("End User License Agreement") via an in-app consent mechanism (e.g., checkbox or equivalent).
• All users are required to accept the Terms to be able to access the IntraStar app.
• By creating an account, uploading content, voting, or browsing on IntraStar, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
• You may access these Terms at all times from within the app through the info icon on the top of the category screen and directly on our website.

2. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• IntraStar reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate the Terms or community guidelines.
• Any inappropriate or abusive behavior within the app, such as bullying, harassing or sending offensive messages to another user, will not be tolerated and will be grounds for your account being deleted.
• Users can use the "Block" button to block another user.
• Users can report inappropriate behavior or an abusive user at info@intrastar.app
• IntraStar may, at its sole discretion, remove or restrict access to any content or account associated with objectionable content or abusive behavior, including immediate suspension and permanent bans for repeat offenders.

3. Content Guidelines

• You retain ownership of the content you upload but grant IntraStar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it within the app.
• Content on the IntraStar app is meant for entertainment purposes and to provide a space for performing artists to showcase their talent. Our hope is to create a community of artists, fans, venues and talent agents. This is a place for artistic expression, but content must adhere to the guidelines regarding inappropriate content. Any inappropriate content will be removed from the app.  
• No Tolerance for Objectionable Content: There is zero tolerance for content or conduct that is offensive, abusive, sexually explicit, defamatory, illegal, incites violence or discrimination, invades privacy, infringes intellectual property, or otherwise violates these Terms. Users who post such content or engage in such conduct may be suspended or banned. Any violation may result in account suspension or removal.  
• Content must not be offensive, violent, discriminatory, or infringe on third-party rights.
• Any video deemed inappropriate will be removed.
• Users can report any content that is inappropriate, offensive or abusive using the "Report" button or by contacting info@intrastar.app
• Our team reviews reported content and takes action to remove any content that violates these Terms.
• IntraStar employs a combination of user reporting, automated signals, and human review to moderate user-generated content and to prevent abusive behavior. Content that we determine violates these Terms may be removed without prior notice. Access to upload or interact with user-generated content may require continued compliance with the Terms, and refusal to agree will disable user-generated content features.

4. Voting and Ranking

• Votes are public and contribute to rankings.
• Any attempt to manipulate votes through bots, fake accounts, or coordinated abuse may result in disqualification and/or ban.

5. Competition Rules and Information

• The IntraStar app being available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store does not mean that either Apple or Google are in any way connected to any competition within the app. Competitions are created by IntraStar and may include sponsors. Apple and/or Google is not a sponsor, administrator, or involved in any way with any contest, sweepstakes, or competition in the IntraStar app.
• No AI (Artificial Intelligence) is allowed in any competition.
• Artists/Users are not allowed to vote for themselves.

• Competitions with no end date:
  • These competitions are an ongoing space for artists to showcase their work and allow for multiple video uploads per user. These competitions are for entertainment and for expressing your creative talent. There is no specific prize. Our hope is that you are able to grow your fanbase, find other artists to collaborate with, and be a part of this online community of artists.

• Competitions with an end date:
  • A start and end date will be specified in the competition
  • All winners must be validated
  • Any taxes associated with any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner
  • Age restrictions may apply and will be specified in the competition
  • Winners are chosen by votes from users
  • In the event of a tie, a competition may be extended or a tie breaker may be implemented

• Local Event Competitions:
  • Any local event competition will be clearly stated as a local event
  • Submissions may only be made by artists attending the event
  • Voting may be open to all fans/users
• The official rules for each contest, sweepstakes, or competition (collectively, "Contests") will be presented within the app on the applicable Contest page and will be accessible at all times while the Contest is active.

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and UI/UX assets of IntraStar are protected and may not be used without written permission.

7. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be communicated via the app or website. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version of the Terms will be accessible at all times from within the app and on the website.
